Saberi Back In "Land Of The Free"

Roxana Saberi was greated by cheers and hugs from family and friends when she arrived at Dulles Airport this afternoon. Saberi was in an Iranian prison for four months with a spying conviction, and after her release, spent the past week or so recuperating in Vienna.

The AP reports Saberi told reporters upon her arrival that she passed the days in prison by singing the national anthem. “And it may sound corny, but I’m so happy to be home in the land of the free.”

She also thanked President Obama, Secretary of State Clinton and various lawmakers and human rights groups.
