Roll Calls’s Rebecca Gale today posted a beginners guide to landing political reporting jobs, just in time as Washington sees an influx of college graduates and interns on the pursuit of just that.
The question comes from Ben, a junior at Fordham University, hoping to eventually land a career in political journalism. He asks the “Hill Navigator,” Roll Call’s column that explores career advice and office etiquette for Congressional staff, how valuable graduate journalism school is and what steps he should take to get more involved with political publications.
