Roll Callers Honored
CQ-Roll Call Group’s Anna Palmer and Matt Murray were awarded this week the Washington Government Relations Group’s Lucile Harris Bluford Spotlight Award for Journalism Highlighting Efforts in Diversity for their June 2009 story, “For Black Lobbyists, Progress is Real but Big Challenges Remain.”
In related Roll Call honoree news, the publication’s Sr. VP and CMO Leilani M. Brown received the National Shining Star Award from the NOBEL Women’s Organization. The award recognizes national and local leaders who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, courage, and character for their achievements and who show continued commitment to community and public service.
