Q&A with Kevin Corke, Miami's Newest TV Anchor

Former NBC News White House correspondent Kevin Corke is heading south– and not just for vacation. After a ten month job search, Corke has landed a new gig as the main anchor at NBC’s Miami affiliate WTVJ.

We first learned about Corke’s new job on Facebook. He updated his status: “FINALLY GOT A JOB! I am the new main anchor at WTVJ (NBC) in Miami. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers throughout. Come see me in South Florida!”

FBDC caught up with Corke before he goes all South Beach on us…

How did you land the new gig? My agent (Jean Sage) is absolutely tenacious! She kept telling me she wasn’t trying to help me find a job- instead she’d say, ‘I’m working to find you the ‘right’ job.’
