Protesters Can be Reporters Too

After Code Pink “peace activist” Rae Abileah was tackled to the ground in the House Gallery after shouting during Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s speech before Congress, she was taken to GWU Hospital with alleged neck and shoulder injuries.

While there, police arrested her.

But not before granting fellow Code Pinker Medea Benjamin a biased bedside interview. Because anyone can be a reporter these days — right?

This is what Abileah told Benjamin at the hospital: “I am in great pain, but this is nothing compared to the pain and suffering that Palestinians go through on a regular basis,” said Abileah from her hospital bed.
