PREMIERE: 'The Hornet's Nest' - Inside One of Afghanistan's Most Hostile Valleys

Wednesday night at the Navy Memorial Heritage Theater, BASE Productions’ hosted a screening of its new film, “The Hornet’s Nest,” premiering throughout the country in theaters this weekend.

The true story follows US troops for what was supposed to be a single day mission inside one of Afghanistan’s most hostile valleys that ended after nine days of combat. “The Hornet’s Nest” is the work of veteran network news correspondent Mike Boettcher, and his son Carlos Boettcher, formerly with ABC News.
