, who has been with The Post for 12 years, is now a regional general assignment reporter based downtown. She most recently covered the local military after tours in Iraq in 2004-05 in which she reported on the Battle of Fallujah and the Saddam Hussein trial. Her war reporting culminated in a book, “Tell Them I Didn’t Cry: A Young Journalist’s Story of Joy, Loss and Survival in Iraq,” published in 2006.
