Politico's Byers Balances After Criticism

Last Thursday Dan Riehl of Big Journalism called out Politico‘s media reporter Dylan Byers for referencing the liberal Media Matters for America as a source of information. That day, we asked Byers if he’d ever referenced the conservative equivalents to MMFA, such as NewsBusters. He wasn’t able to produce anything of substance.

But then on Friday — one day after Byers received our questions on the issue — he published a post about the heated argument growing between the conservative Media Research Center, a media watchdog, and CNN’s Roland Martin, who some on the right perceive to be liberal.
