Politico's Mike Allen Welcomes Kindergartener to Golf Tourney
Autumn VandeHei, wife of Politico Executive Editor Jim VandeHei, rounded up Washington journalists, political types and pundits on Monday for a golf tournament to raise money for Cornerstone School. Cornerstone is a private school in NE D.C. The fundraiser was held at the Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria, Va. Clay Hanna, brother to Autumn, is the school principal.
The event raised $100,000.
Politico‘s Mike Allen did not play in the tournament. But he did play with the children for two hours.
