Politico: 'Bardella Had a Cocky Streak'
Politico‘s Jake Sherman and John Breshnahan break the news this afternoon that Rep. Darrell Issa‘s (R-Calif.) has canned his longtime press secretary Kurt Bardella for sharing reporters’ emails with NYT reporter Mark Leibovich. Though Bardella is done, Issa, the House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman, insists the investigation will continue.
Included alongside this story: Politico Editor-in-Chief John Harris in a video discusses the publication making inquiries into Bardella’s questionable behavior. “It was a significant concern to me,” he said.
