Pierre Garçon's Third Annual All-White Clothing Charity Event

"A few years ago, they were in trouble of closing their doors, so the opportunity presented itself and I thought I could help out."

At the Millennium Building on Thursday night, Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garçon hosted his third annual all-white clothing charity event, benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington (BGCGW).

The event, which helped raise $106,000 for the charitable organization, is something Garçon says he looks forward to every year. We asked the wide receiver and host what sparked his interest in the Boys and Girls Club charity.

“The Boys and Girls Club is an amazing organization,” Garçon told FishbowlDC. “A few years ago, they were in trouble of closing their doors, so the opportunity presented itself and I thought I could help out.
