CBS Radio News has announced that Pam Coulter has been assigned the role of White House correspondent

ABC_Photo_SmallCBS Radio News has announced that Pam Coulter has been assigned the role of White House correspondent. Replacing the retired Peter Maer, Coulter will start in her new role effective March 2nd.

After stints as a correspondent for NPR and ABC Radio News — covering the White House, Congress and the Pentagon for 12 years — Coulter rejoined CBS in 2011.

Among her achievements, she is a repeat winner of the Edward R. Murrow award and won last year’s Sigma Delta Chi award for her in depth reports on the “March on Washington 50th Anniversary.”
