'Page Six' Reports David Gregory Paid $4 Million to Zip His Lips
The New York Post’s Page Six reported over the weekend that NBC paid David Gregory $4 million for a quiet departure from NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“A source said Gregory’s contract extended into next year, so NBC had to pay him for the rest of the term, plus an extra fee to ensure his silence,” wrote Page Six’s Emily Smith and Stephanie Smith of Gregory having to sign a clause restricting him from speaking ill of the network.
