Odd Ommission

Re-reading the Capitol Leader letter we published last week, this sentence stuck out at us:

Mr. Tolchin’s career in newspaper publishing includes 40 years at the New York Times and being the founding Editor and Publisher of another Capitol Hill newspaper.

That “another Capitol Hill newspaper,” of course, is The Hill Newspaper. Is it part of Capitol Leader’s marketing plan to purposely not mention The Hill by name? And if so, why?
