Obama Presser: Surprise Questioners Not Surprised

This morning, on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal,” CBS News’ Chip Reid said that reporters were not given advance notice that President Obama would entertain their questions at last night’s press conference.

Reid’s claim may hold true for the “usual suspects,” but a source tells FishbowlDC that some of the wild card questioners were alerted well in advance. If so, is the double standard an unfair advantage or professional courtesy?
