NYT Injustice

Now some people would argue that the New York Times has lacked justice for years, but now that may really come to pass. There seems to be an awful lot of chatter recently that the paper's money in politics reporter Glen Justice is moving on to greener pastures. Anyone have more details? Full release after the jump. Washington, D.C., March 28, 2006 -- Campaigns & Elections Publisher Jordan Lieberman today announced the promotion of Managing Editor Morgan E. Felchner to Editor. In this capacity, Felchner will oversee significant improvements in the editorial package and ensure the 26-year-old publication remains true to its mission of educating, informing, entertaining and connecting all those who touch politics. â€œAfter nearly three years of hard work at Campaigns &Elections, Morgan Felchner was the perfect choice to lead the editorial staff and content into the bright future that lies ahead for the magazine,â€ Lieberman said. Recently acquired by Political World Communications, the magazine has plans to make a significant investment in editorial content and launch the largest marketing strategy in decades. â€œMorgan will continue to ensure the editorial content attracts seasoned political and public affairs professionals and simultaneously drives up readership. I know the results will be impressive,â€ Lieberman said. Previously, Felchner served as Campaigns & Elections managing editor, where she managed the day-to-day editorial operations. Originally from the Midwest, she came to Washington, D.C. in 2003 to become Associate Editor at Campaigns & Elections. Prior, she held various positions at WisPolitics.com, a political news service in Wisconsin. She is a frequent speaker to groups of international visitors, students and conferences and provides on-air political commentary for dozens of radio and television stations across the world, including Fox News, CNNfn, Canada TV and local network affiliates. She is a contributing editor for PoliticsOnline and a member of the National Press Club. Felchner holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
