NPR Loses Andrea Seabrook

Andrea Seabrook is leaving NPR to further her career as an independent journalist. The announcement came from Senior Washington Editor of NPR, Ron Elving. Seabrook has been their Congressional Correspondent since 2003.

Part of her plans include producing her own blog and podcast called “DecodeDC” and freelancing for other news outlets.

Her last day with NPR will be July 27.
