Earlier on FishbowlDC: “NPR Is Moving!”

From Washington Business Journal:

Boston Properties Inc. plans a 450,000-square-foot office building to replace the current headquarters of National Public Radio in Mount Vernon Triangle, the result of a two-part deal to buy the public broadcaster’s current office and build its new one.

Ken Simmons, senior vice president in the D.C. office of Boston Properties, said he hopes the new Class A building will deliver in 2014 or 2015, assuming NPR’s move goes smoothly.
