NPR Hires CBC's Reber to Ramp Up Investigative Unit

NPR News has hired investigative radio editor and producer Susanne Reber to lead NPR’s new investigative program as Deputy Managing Editor, Investigations. Reber joins NPR from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where she has led its news investigative unit since 2003.

In the coming months, Reber will staff up a core investigative team at NPR, work with beat and field reporters across the newsroom and partner with other non-profit news organizations doing high-level investigative work.
