NPR and SAG-AFTRA represented NPR employees have reached a tentative agreement on a contract, according to a joint statement from NPR and the union. The agreement comes on the heels of a prominent but positive social media campaign launched by NPR employees to bring attention to the negotiations.
The NPR-approved agreement will be sent to union members, who, according to the statement, “will have an opportunity to vote to ratify the agreement in the coming weeks.”
