NPR Adds OZY Media Co-Founder Carlos Watson to Its Board of Directors
NPR expands its board with Watson, Gary Fernandes and Jay Pearce.
NPR has added three members to its board of directors, the result of a 2015 decision to grow its board.
Carlos Watson joins as a public director. Watson is the co-founder and CEO of OZY Media and the host of PBS debate series Point Taken. “For someone who believes in the vital importance of storytelling in the fight for promoting equality through education, there can be no greater honor than being asked to join the board of NPR,” said Watson in statement.
