NJ to Initiate Magazine Redesign In Wake of Kushner's Exit

Adam KushnerEalier today, Politico reported that National Journal‘s executive editor Adam Kushner is leaving to start up a new Politico Magazine-esque digital venture at WaPo. Kushner was with NJ for just over three years, both in an editorial capacity and as a writer, covering topics including idealism in the Middle East, China’s world domination, and the recovery of New Orleans. He was also the leader in getting NJ‘s recent “Gay Washington” special issue together, and conducted their interview with Barney Frank.

FishbowlDC has now learned that editor-in-chief Tim Grieve will be leading the search for Kushner’s replacement as executive editor, and that the first task awaiting the new pick will be be a major magazine redesign. In
