• MSNBC’s Chris Matthews did Jay Len’s 10 @ 10 segment last. We learned he was once a singing waiter and he got fired because he didn’t “clap right,” Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton haunt the “Hardball” anchor, he’s seen “Hangover” and he was at the U2 concert this week.

• Cory Booker was interviewed at the Atlantic’s “First Draft of History” today and took the opportunity to address his feud with Conan O’Brien. The Newark Mayor said Conan’s remarks may have stemmed from personal jealousy — “I’ve got no-care hair,” Booker said, while O’Brien’s hair must take hours to style.
