Costello-Travolta

It was a case of fortunate timing indeed for NBC News Washington correspondent Tom Costello who, during the weekend’s blizzard, found himself not corresponding among the snow-strewn backdrop of our nation’s capital but instead basking among the palms of sunny Beverly Hills.

Ok, so we can’t confirm basking, but Costello, who has included aviation among his beats for the past decade, served as co-emcee for the Living Legends of Aviation Awards, an annual awards ceremony that honors people from across a variety of disciplines who have “made signification contributions in aviation,” according to the awards site.

Costello was joined by John Travolta, who was a host, and Harrison Ford, there to hand out an eponymous award.

And how was your weekend?
