MSNBC Panel Erupts in Laughter Over Clinton Campaign 'Rope Line'
Clinton communications director defends press "rope line."
Monday’s edition of Morning Joe featured Hillary Clinton’s communications director Jennifer Palmieri defending the now-infamous press “rope line” over the weekend, but not without some side-splitting laughter from the MSNBC panel.
“What do you think? Is that future of presidential press?” chuckled host Joe Scarborough, referring to the images of the press being corralled behind a rope.
“So I think that, you know, here’s – it’s a good time to talk about our theory on press access and the campaign,” Palmieri said.
“Yes, it is,” said Scarborough, bursting out in laughter.
