Monica Lewinsky Opens Up in June Issue of Vanity Fair

In the June issue, Lewinsky writes about her affair with President Clinton and how she’s spent the time since rebuilding her life.

“It’s time to burn the beret and bury the blue dress,” Lewinsky says in her essay. “I, myself, deeply regret what happened between me and President Clinton. Let me say it again: I. Myself. Deeply. Regret. What. Happened.”

Lewinsky shoots down rumors that she was paid off by the Clintons and offered a $12 million book deal and goes on to explain how the scandal altered the direction of her life.
