Meet the FishbowlDC Intern Part III

Excitement is brewing for our intern. On Thursday he received his blogging password. But it wasn't quite what he was expecting. "I got the email. It's a crazy password," he wrote. Crazy how? "Like it has two symbols, random capitalization, and isn't any kind of word I've ever seen," he said. (Uh oh. This could be a very long internship). The reveal happens later this afternoon. Our final chat: Why did you want this internship anyway? To go to the White House Correspondents' Dinner. And apparently I don't get a real ticket for it? This is not what I saw advertised! What is your main goal in your career? The best you can have in a career is to reach a level of success where you're respected and acknowledged as an influence by your peers. To have other journalists say that I've done good work or that I should be emulated. Likes: Cute animal videos, Real Housewives, every other TV show except "Scrubs" and "House," Twitter Dislikes: Real Housewives (it's a love/hate relationship), kids, assholes, the rest of mankind Who is your favorite Real Housewife and why? Doesn't have to be D.C.: They're all pretty vile and Lynda Erkiletian is a reptile. Uhhhhhh. Wow, so hard. I'll give two. My favorite sane housewife is probably Kyle Richards from Beverly Hills. I hate to say she's "real" because what the fuck does that even mean? But she's so real, grounded, no-nonsense, smart and hot for an old person. But what would Housewives be without the crazy? (Nothing, that's what.) Craziest has to be Danielle Staub from New Jersey. Do you know how to swim? This is, after all, a Fishbowl. Of course! Do people not? Word or phrase you overuse: I really try hard not to overuse words (or phrases). I do however abuse parentheses. Worst thing you've ever said to an editor or vice versa? I'm still fairly new at this whole "life" thing, but an editor of my high school newspaper gave me a college essay of his to proofread and critique. By the time I was finished, he was literally in tears. (Sad tears. Angry tears.) What is your greatest strength? I don't know if it's a strength exactly, but my sense of humor is, I think, my best asset (even though my mom doesn't think I'm funny). I can laugh anything off, so I'm not easily offended. And your greatest weakness (and don't bullsh*t me): My upper body. Also, my inability to feel, the fact that I pretty much have a black hole where my heart's supposed to be.
