Just when it looked like liberal radio host Mark Levine had faded into the night, he makes a comeback on Current TV’s Say Anything with Joy Behar.
Levine — or, as we’ve come to know and love him, her majesty Queen Levine for his demanding demeanor — was on the show last night with former RNC Chairman Michael Steele talking about conservative author Ann Coulter’s recent “retard” tweet.
Queen Levine dismissed the tweet… saying it’s Coulter’s “job to say the most offensive thing she can so she can rake in the millions.”
Coulter tweeted during Monday’s presidential debate that she “highly approve[d] of Romney’s decision to be kind and gentle to the retard.” The “retard” being President Obama.
“Ann Coulter just says whatever she can to make a lot of money,” Queen Levine continued. Steele asked if he was offended by the remark. “No, she doesn’t offend me because she’s beyond offense,” Queen Levine said.
Behar called the tweet “obnoxious” and Steele agreed, but said that it’s “part of her schtick.”
Coulter did not return request for comment.
