Local D.C. Anchor Suspended
Doug McKelway of the ABC affiliate WJLA-TV has been suspended, Newsbusters reports. The reason? Possible conservative bias.
McKelway was suspended by WJLA-TV (owned by Allbritton Communications). The allegations come as the result of a report from a rally on the BP oil spill – during which he remarked on the oil industry’s influence in Washington.
