C-SPAN 2’s Book TV took to the National Mall this weekend to cover Saturday’s book festival. They captured C-SPAN correspondent Peter Slen’s  interview with former First Lady Laura Bush, who has been crisscrossing the country to promote her book, Spoken from the Heart.

What was revealed: 1) Her relationships with President Bush’s two chiefs of staff Josh Bolten and Andrew Card were close enough that she lunched with them each once or twice a month to talk about “what bothered” her or what “interested” her.
