Kris Viesselman Is Named Roll Call Editor in Chief

Roll Call's senior director of digital content replaces Melinda Henneberger.

Kris Viesselman has been named as Roll Call’s new editor in chief, announced chief content officer David Ellis today. Viesselman replaces Melinda Henneberger, who left the organization, we learned yesterday, after fundamental disagreements with management.

Viesselman joined Roll Call in December as the senior director of digital content and new products. She was brought on last year for her data visualization and digital product experience at the firm she founded, Electric Ivy, and in her previous roles, among them vp, product and chief creative officer at The San Diego Union-Tribune and director of digital product development and interactive publishing at National Geographic.
