Journo Learns of Veep Pick on Horseback
Like a scene out of an old western, Yahoo! News‘ Chris Moody learned of Mitt Romney‘s choice of Paul Ryan for Veep the old fashioned way: while horseback riding.
Cowboy Moody was riding along a rural West Virginia mountain road at Seneca Rocks on Saturday. There was no cell service for miles, so he had no idea Romney made the announcement when a Democratic strategist who happened to be on the same horse trail rode up and said, “Hey, did you hear?”
The full quote from the Democratic strategist was, “Did you hear? Barack Obama was just re-elected to a second term.
