Journalist Haunt Shutters Temporarily
The Hay Adams Hotel (including the Off the Record bar) is closing for summer renovations. Off the Record is a stones throw from the White House and is a known place to be amongst journos, White House aides, politicians and such.
According to the website, the hotel will be closed for “elevator improvements and roof enhancements” between June 20 and October 7.
