Josh Earnest: Obama Will Not Revise 'Thugs and Criminals' Comment

While the Mayor of Baltimore is backing off a bit from her “thug” comments made on Monday, Press Secretary Josh Earnest says that President Obama will not revise his remarks about “thugs and criminals” in Baltimore made yesterday.
When asked by CNN’s Michelle Kosinski whether the President was departing from his comments yesterday in the Rose Garden — based on his interview with Steve Harvey earlier today in which he didn’t use the word “thug” — the Press Secretary responded bluntly, “No, I don’t think the President would in any way revise the remarks he shared with all of you in the Rose Garden.”
