John Yang Named NBC News correspondent

From the release:

John Yang has been named NBC News correspondent, effective immediately. Yang will be based in Washington, D.C. and will contribute to all NBC News properties, including “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams,” “Today” and MSNBC. The announcement was made today by NBC News President Steve Capus.

Prior to joining NBC News, Yang was an ABC News correspondent based in Washington, D.C. from 2004 to 2006. In the fall of 2006, Yang reported on exclusive developments in the former Congressman Mark Foley sex scandal.
