Intelligence Reporter Ryan Lucas Joins CQ News Team
The former AP correspondent will begin by covering the debate over the Patriot Act.
Ryan Lucas, an intelligence and homeland security reporter, has been hired by CQ Roll Call, vp and news director Steve Komarow announced on Monday.
He will be diving headfirst into the fray, helping CQ’s Shawn Zeller with coverage of the debate over the Patriot Act. Lucas, a former AP correspondent in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, began his journalistic career covering domestic and regional issues in Warsaw-including the CIA’s secret prison program in Poland and the U.S. missile defense base that was seen as a provocation by Moscow.
