'Innocent Spouse' Makes a Splash in Vogue

For the past month New York Social Diary blogger Carol Joynt has been coping with a minutely early stage of breast cancer. This week she had the lumpectomy and is cancer free, she wrote in the chronicling of her duress on her personal blog. Like many these days, she bared her pain, confusion and anxiety from diagnosis to surgery.

Now, amid her difficulties comes a ray of light: Vogue.

Vogue bought the exclusive first serial rights to her memoir, “Innocent Spouse,” and a 3000 word excerpt runs in the April issue out today.
