In the Atrium With Al Jazeera's Washington Bureau Chief Abderrahim Foukara

Abderrahim Foukara, Al Jazeera’s Arabic Washington Bureau Chief and alleged expert on the Middle East and the Arab Spring, will offer his perspectives tonight at American University. The lecture will take place in the School of International Service atrium from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Foukara joined Al Jazeera in 2002, and has covered the UN Security Council Deliberations leading to the Iraq war and reported on the search for weapons of mass destruction.  He has also covered the war in Afghanistan and the deaths of King Hussein of Jordan and President Hafiz Al-Assad of Syria.
