In Memoriam: Dave Fay

Dave Fay, longtime hockey writer for The Washington Times, died Tuesday night at his home in Monrovia, Md., after a twelve-year battle with cancer. He was 67.
Mr. Fay, a widely respected reporter, was named in May as the winner of the Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award for hockey journalism, earning him a place in the Hockey Hall of Fame. He had been scheduled to receive the award in November.
