Keith White quietly announced on Tuesday that he would be leaving CQ Roll Call, effective Jan 31. White, who was upped to executive VP and managing director in early 2011, leaves Roll Call after a 13-year tenure with the company.

He told Roll Call staffers of his planned departure in a memo earlier this week:

Folks –

I wanted to let you know that I am leaving the company and my last day will be January 31 of this year. The Economist Group will begin recruiting for my replacement right away – in the meantime, Paul McHale, our global head of HR, will run the business based out of Washington.
