Hunter Biden and Cava Mezze Chef Launch Campaign to Provide School Meals to Children

20140806_173801Hunter Biden, World Food Program USA Board chairman and son of VP Joe Biden, teamed up with Cava Mezze executive chef and co-founder Dimitri Moshovitis Wednesday night to kick off their campaign to provide school meals to children throughout the world. Richard Leach, president and CEO of WFP USA, was also in attendance.

As part of a presentation, Biden and his daughters Maisy and Finnegan joined Moshovitis for a healthy, quick, and affordable cooking demonstration.

Sept. 1 – 16, Cava Mezze will give 25 cents – the cost for WFP to provide a child a nutritious meal – of every meal to WFP’s school meals program.
