Hundreds Protest in Support of Real Net Neutrality Outside FCC

This morning outside the Federal Communications Commission headquarters, hundreds of people in support of Net Neutrality protested Chairman Tom Wheeler’s proposal to allow telecom companies to deny users access to certain content and applications. Following the protest, Free Press hosted a press conference to discuss the movement and day’s efforts.

The concept of Network Neutrality preserves free and open Internet and prohibits service providers like Comcast and Verizon from discriminating between accessible content and applications online.
