HuffPost Loses Nico Pitney

HuffPost Managing Editor Nico Pitney, who was formerly in the Washington bureau, is leaving the publication to spend more time with his family, according to a memo from the organization. Capital New York first reported the news after staffers heard about the departure in a meeting. Pitney will move to San Francisco with his wife, Karina. A HuffPost insider tells FishbowlDC, “Nico’s heading to San Francisco, though there’s still hope that he’ll remain with us in some other role.
