HuffPo Ups Pitney to Managing Editor

Huffington Post’s Nico Pitney has been named Managing Editor for the new AOL HuffPost, reports TechCrunch.    He will replace Jai Singh who is leaving the company for a gig as EIC of  Yahoo Media Network.  Prior to his promotion, Pitney served in various roles such as Executive Editor, National Editor and Politics Editor for HuffPost.
