'House of Cards' Casting Attracts 1k+ Hopefuls
On Saturday in Bel Air, Maryland, Kimberly Skyrme Casting held an open casting call for season 3 of the popular Netflix series “House of Cards.”
More than 1,000 actors and fans showed up to audition for the series, encouraged to showcase his/her DC political look and have a photo wearing DC black-tie attire.
“We have to visualize them looking like a DC politician or an ambassador or a lobbyist. So if they come that way, it just makes it easier for us to visualize,” said Kimberly Skyrme, owner of the casting agency tasked with hiring local talent.
CBS Baltimore’s Gigi Barnett was there, and offers a look at casting for one of the region’s most popular shows.
