Here's a Sneak Peek of WaPo/APM's Historically Black Podcast

The podcast debuts Monday.

The Historically Black podcast is making its official debut on Monday, and to give listeners a taste, the podcast released a five-minute preview today.

“Historically Black really started in our brainstorming meetings of how to best get our museum coverage to the masses, to people who aren’t living in Washington, D.C. but might be interested in the museum,” explains Washington Post digital editor Veronica Toney in the preview.

Toney is referring to the Smithsonian’s new National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the podcast is an aural component of the paper’s reporting on the museum, which opens later this month.
