Heads Up Food Writers

Award-winning food writer Jane Black will moderate a panel of local chefs to discuss “their work in setting America’s table” tonight at George Washington University’s Jack Morton Auditorium.

José Andres, owner of several D.C. restaurants including Jaleo, Oyamel, and Zaytinya, has been a guest judge on Bravo’s “Top Chef” and featured on Travel Channel’s “No Reservations.” He’ll join Nora Pouillon, owner of Restaurant Nora, and Todd Gray, who owns Equinox with his wife, Ellen. Rounding out the panel is Spike Mendelsohn (below), two-time “Top Chef” contestant and owner of Good Stuff Eatery and We The Pizza on Capitol Hill.
