Happy 30th Anniversary to CNN!
It’s CNN’s 30th anniversary today. While the network isn’t hugely celebrating (there are stories to break on the oil spill and Israel) there will celebratory features on the network today.
“The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer” is doing a retrospective on the network’s first few moments on air. In addition, “John King, USA” will honor the anniversary with its off-beat reporter “Pete on the Street,” who will gather reflections of ordinary Americans about CNN’s milestone, plus pop-up style captions with lighthearted facts about the network.
