Gridiron Announces GOP Speaker

This morning, USA Today‘s Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page in an email announcement, shares who will be the GOP Speaker for the upcoming Gridiron dinner in Washington.

It’s Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, “who has a long history in Washington — as political director for President Reagan and Budget director for President George W. Bush. He’s considering a run for the Republican presidential nomination next year.”

She added, “We’re delighted that Gov. Daniels will be with us.” As she stated previously, the Democratic speaker, as previously announced, will be HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
