GovExec Expands Event Staff
Government Executive Media Group (GEMG), which includes Government Executive magazine, NextGov, and Defense One, is hiring more event staff ahead of their next Excellence in Government conference. Kelly Olson, Senior Director of Events for GEMG, announced today the hiring of Frank Konkel as Editor for Events. In this role, Konkel will oversee content production for the conference, which is themed “The Agency of the Future.“
Konkel comes to Government Executive Media Group from 1105 Media’s Federal Computer Week, where he reported on the government’s use of technology, including policies, management strategies and oversight.
